Configure Events Publisher

Network-attached storage is a file-level storage architecture that makes stored data more accessible to networked devices.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system that supports PowerMax File.
  2. Select Storage > File.
  3. Select the NAS SERVERS tab.
  4. Select the BACKUP & EVENTS tab.
  5. Select the EVENTS POOL tab.
  6. Click Events Publisher.
  7. Click the slidebar to enable the configuration of the event publisher.
  8. Select a value for Post Event Failure Policy.
  9. Optional: click the Deny access when all servers are offline checkbox.
  10. Select and configure the protocol to connect to CEPA servers.
  11. Types values for Heartbeart (seconds) and Timeout (milliseconds).
  12. Click OK.
